December 6, 2021 - MCOG's board adopted the 2022 RTIP by resolution after a public hearing, based on the recommendations of its Technical Advisory Committee and staff.

March 30, 2021 - MCOG is updating the Mendocino County Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and Active Transportation Plan (ATP) and would like to hear from members of the community about transportation needs, deficiencies, and mobility barriers/challenges. Public outreach will be virtual during this initial needs assessment, due to the ongoing pandemic.

March 11, 2021 - As the local agency responsible for maintaining the Call Box Program in Mendocino County, the Mendocino Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies (SAFE), is currently working to facilitate a necessary, system-wide upgrade.

March 2, 2021 - Comments are invited on the revised Mendocino County Coordinated  Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan. Comments are due by March 23, 2021. January 25, 2021 - One of MCOG’s duties is to update the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for Mendocino County every four years. The purpose of the RTP is to identify all types and modes of transportation improvements needed to keep people and goods moving efficiently and safely over the next 20 years. The Active Transportation Plan (ATP) for non-motorized modes is a part of this document.

January 19, 2021 - This RFP for professional services to conduct the Pavement Management Program & GIS Linkage Update for Mendocino County will remain open to January 29.

January 12, 2021 - Caltrans and Mendocino Council of Governments (MCOG) invite all to attend a virtual public meeting for the Gualala Downtown Streetscape Enhancement project on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. The project team has taken previous project comments and will present a new alternative for community consideration.
