February 24, 2022 - MCOG invites proposals for professional services to conduct the Feasibility Study - Mobility Solutions for Rural Communities of Inland Mendocino County.  This RFP is being re-issued, as the first procurement process did not result in award of a contract.  Proposers are encouraged to carefully review scope, deliverables, and proposal requirements included in this RFP when developing proposals.

Overall project objectives are to research, analyze, and identify feasible mobility solutions and non-traditional transit alternatives and options, including innovative options that utilize low- and no-emission vehicles, for future use to provide transportation service to inland Mendocino County’s remote and disadvantaged communities, currently unserved by traditional transit.

A robust virtual community engagement process will be undertaken (through use of an online public engagement platform) to seek meaningful tribal, stakeholder, disadvantaged community, and general public involvement in this project. Remote communities included in this study are Laytonville, Covelo, Brooktrails, Potter Valley, and Hopland.

Proposals are due by April 6, 2022 at 5pm. Download the RFP for full details:
